How much am I handicapping myself leaving my firm before being promoted and working a year as a senior? I’m going from staff to staff in industry getting like a 17% raise with performance based bonus up to 10%. I’m sure that raise is much lower than it would’ve been had I gotten another year of exp but I’m leaving mostly bc I’m so miserable in public. Will this decision really impact my career/salary growth all that much in the years to come?

Is it irresponsible to spend the 4th at a friend’s lake house in NH? I believe it will be less than 10 people, but wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a few more than that. I feel conflicted.
