I would tell managers to cool it and if they don’t drop it say that you’re more offended by them making a mountain out of a molehill on your behalf than a simple mistake.
I have been mistaken for other aa folks numerous times, usually Im not offended. It makes it worse when others are going over the top, cause it can make you look like the sensitive black person. Let's face it who here hasnt mistaken one of the blondes for another one of the blondes.
Honestly for something relatively small I just make sarcastic joke or something that will make that one person feel dumb or just let’s them realize their mistake is enough. When it gets blown up it the attention can be uncomfortable
☝️ yeah I’d say honest mistake
Ha! Happens to so many people (including famous folks). When leaving the movie theater after seeing, "The Upside," the man next to me said he hadn't seen Tracy Morgan in anything in a long time. I kindly told him the actor is Kevin Hart, not Tracy Morgan.
Wow. They look nothing alike
I have curly hair and this has happened with others with similar hair. People need to chill
If it was a one off, just remind and move on.
