I’m looking for a new opportunity and I’m open to either wealth management, financial planning, hedge funds, private equity, asset management, or trading. I’m more of a hunter/closer not a gatherer. I manage $100 Million in assets, but my book is mostly NOT portable. I’m a CFP, ChFC, hold the Series 7, 65, and Life insurance licenses. I have 12 years experience in wealth management and I’m finishing up my MBA soon with a concentration in Mergers & Acquisitions. 3.6 GPA from top 50 university.

I’m in digital planning/buying. Do people need to get a masters at some point to keep progressing in their careers? What type of careers (needed for client side?) is an MBA helpful for down the line?
Are there jobs out of T15 MBA that require ~50 hrs a week and still provide a good ROI (assuming going on loans)? Not sure if the MBB grind is desirable for me.
Who have you had write your mba recs if coming from consulting. Your coach? Other managers/ SMs/ Partners that you've worked closely with?
I have recently entered the Management Consulting world (previously in accounting) and would like to obtain a few certifications to learn more about the ins and outs as well as to distance myself from the accounting world.
Which certs should I get and which should I start with?
This is my current tentative plan as of now.
Current Year: Scrum Master and ProSci
Next Year: Agile and LSS
3rd Year: PMP and LSS
Please do let me know if this is an unrealistic schedule/any other feedback! Thank you!

Hello RSM coworkers! I am thrilled to be moving to RSM into a Scheduler roll. I just found out yesterday and want to be as prepared as possible in the next steps.
So here are my questions.
How long does the background study take? I'm guessing admin staff have a study that is faster and less complicated than someone in Tax ect.
When training at home what did you need that wasn't supplied by RSM? My home office is well stocked but I want to be as prepared as possible.
Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone, I’ve been trying for almost four months now to break into consulting and I’m been having a really hard time. Is there anyone who can get my resume in front of a recruiter? HM? I can provide my resume/cover letter or anything else needed. I’ve been doing quite a bit of case studying and just making duas that I get an interview at some point. I’m looking for entry level or associate level jobs in the US - literally anywhere. Any kind support will be greatly appreciated.
Anyone know of any production shops or in-house studios in Philly? I'm starting a job search there. I'm not sure how my experience in a large, NY agency translates to a smaller market. Any recruiters there that work primarily in advertising?
For anyone that started out as an independent freelancer — making chump change and probono via word of mouth before corporate world (joining Inhouse or agency), do you still count those year(s) in your intro?
