Dixon Hughes Goodman. Solid mid tier firm in the Southeast. I think also has a New York office. Have picked up some work from them after my PE owned clients acquired some of their clients. Solid people with good work product.

Thanks for the info!

Used to work there and pretty sure they have an accounting advisory practice, although not sure how large it is or what work they do. Solid firm though.

Got an offer to join an advisory practice at EY with a considerable bump. I will say, I feel like DHG is one of the few firms that actually has good culture. Even the managers I worked with out of the larger offices were good to work with (mindful about late night emails, etc) and my local office was great.

In the midwest, talking to a small agency. If I take a FT role and possibly move in a few months, wondering if they’d be open to me staying on remotely. Everything’s been remote for them for a while anyway and will likely continue to be. Any thoughts on how to approach this scenario? Want to do right, but don’t want to be overly precautious either.

Annual review advice?
I feel very secure in my long-term employment and am doing very well. I work at a midsized boutique with a generally solid culture. I’ve been described as “rising star/golden child” etc., glowing reviews. The thing is that I’ve had a tough year with absent mentors, low interaction/training (there are extenuating circumstances with my SA.) Do I mention what changes I need to see to stay here? Or just go along, accept my good reviews and bonus, and keep my head down?

I need some advise. 2 years ago( when I turned 33) I realized my energy level is going down at a faster rate everyday then I have ever experienced. I had my doctor do yearly different tests and everything is normal. I try to work out at least 2 times a week and take vitamins D and B12. I am getting fatigue and feeling weak, unable to accomplish my tasks sometimes (not depressed). I am losing the sense of consistency. Anything anybody would recommend to do or take?
