Capco is usually last tier
they pay well though.
As someone who used to work there, I certainly don’t group you in fintech. Staff aug bodyshop is more like it.
Thanks for the insight. I hear that's the case in some offices, however our Canadian office has a strong digital practice, and we're building it's presence in RofUS.
Newco?
Trying to determine what tier we might be considered a part of.. and how ex-consultants hiring elsewhere might view my experience.
Linking the firm's website if you aren't in fintech and haven't heard of us. www.capco.com

I don’t agree with the linked post. You don’t do work at most of the global banks, compete for and win major multi year deals, replace other “top tier firms” just to be considered last on the list. We have true depth and capability across FS. I’ll take that graphic as being created by a disgruntled Capco person. Lots of the firms have disgruntled posts about how bad things are - with those folks the grass is always going to be greener elsewhere. Lastly - At some point - I can see one of the majors (who don’t have an FS practice) acquiring Capco to strengthen their position. And where will you rank them (us) then?
Similar to big 4 / ACN but obviously with financial services focus. Similar pay too.
I’d rank them a tier lower. Capco doesn’t pay as well but usually promotes external hires and justifies the raises that way.
They’re not bad at all, but their edge to competitors is that they’re cheaper.
That being said, they’re filled with intelligent and capable people, but brand wise they’re still ranked lower and haven’t established themselves fully yet.
