At my previous firm we usually record client meetings with client’s consent, so we can avoid going back and force and ask questions about things already discussed. Just found out at my new firm we aren’t allow to record walkthrough meetings. Any tips on notes taking?

#2 Got 2nd call for technical interview without scheduling interview.

I was uncomfortable as in 1st call to discuss compensation with project manager ( no authentication, is he really manager).

Can anyone advise on law enforcement career tracks for very experienced CPAs interested in (but not experienced in) forensic accounting? I am 36 and going to retire at 41 - I’m done being a manager/leader in my current tax consulting profession. If I had known about law enforcement careers in college I would have gone that route but by the time I discovered it later, I wasn’t willing to start over on salary. Now I can do that.
