If you are lateraling to big law, do the firms still ask for your transcript? If not, at what YOE do they stop asking for it?

I’m struggling. Not sure what to do or how to help myself. Open to any ideas from the community. — Work is killing me, im exhausted everyday and mentally worn out. I just want to spend my days with my kids and enjoy being with them vs working but we aren’t in a financial place to do that without downsizing. Has anyone felt this way and found success in either therapy (is that what I need?) or finding a new job that is more fulfilling? I am not motivated by anything and am over corporate BS.

Im considering quitting my job, and becoming a substitute teacher in the meantime. I didn’t realize it till now but when I was hired my manager who I’ve come to the realization is lazy, assumed others would train which didn’t happen. I applied for a director role, and didn't get it. The agency came back with an offer for a manager role (and lower salary), with a verbal agreement that I would be working toward a promotion "in the next few months after I had been shown to be coachable".

If I take the offer, it's a true lateral move. The agency is a good one doing exciting work though.

Ahhh I have no idea what to do.
