Firm laid off a good amount of people today. Would you bring up the topic that you’re open to a pay reduction (say 20% while not on a client full time) is a good move prior to them mentioning anything about your role or would you wait..?

Also, assuming you like the firm/job, see yourself there for the next 2-4 years, and 20% would suck, but not too big of hit if had to last through 2020 only.

Anyone else project confidence and calmness but secretly get really stressed out or irritated easily? When I'm with people who talk slowly for example I get so irritated on the inside I feel like I could scream, but I obviously can't show that so I just pretend to be listening when really the person is talking so slowly that I forget the word they've said by the time they get to the next one. Anyone ever feel gaslit? Like different teams take out their frustrations on you? There’s only one (of me) managing multiple teams and it feels like everyone is frustrated and taking it out on me. The deadlines have been insane and I’m trying, but they don’t seem to understand they work on one single project at a time while I’m on 9 others at once (all in-house, not jumping from client to client). And I’ve been accommodating / doing it all. But it’s not sustainable. Also - I’m the only writer.
