My son started speaking at 9 months and was able to talk full sentences at 14 months ( and now doesn’t talk a lot when he is 15 yrs). My daughter didn’t talk properly until she was 3 years and won’t stop now that she is 10
This is the most Desi thing I have read today😂
Badhiya hai
At par. Also statistically girls talk a little early than boys.
When do they start speaking “well”? Right now mine talks gibberish.
I believe that is well within the range of normal, and FWIW it's a pretty wide range. Mine started speaking early and is doing 4-5 word sentences at 17 months.
Lol, true! None taken.
N this is how the whole “dekh, sharma ji ke bete ne 4-5 words bole aur mere bete ne sirf 2-3”. Why compare at all? Why does it matter? Every kid has their own growth n journey
who else is thinking about that line by amir khan in 3 idiots now about parents being competitive?
folks it's not about competition. these are key milestones for early age. you can't ignore them. and we are in competitive industry so natural to compare with Shama ji ka beta ya beti
We speak Hindi and Eng at home . At his early education school, they speak English.
if problem persist till kid turns 2.5 ,take them to 2-3 month's India vacation or get your folks. if kid is only with mom and dad then they are not forced to Express vocally but thorugh emotions. being with new folks who always communicate with kid verbally push kid to understand the words and reply in same manner. this is serious advice.
problem with speech if last long can result in communication issues. have seen this happening to friend's kid. kid didn't talk much till 3. have to enroll kid in speech therapy.
Agree with D1. It makes a huge difference. We spent 6 months in India and have had my parents/in laws here with us for most of the remaining time and think that really helped develop his speech early.
In my firm that will also fetch a below level snapshot🤣
That’s perfect! Seems like he/she is on track for spelling bee 😉
