Mine are the same age, we were at my in laws beach house a couple weeks ago and they were fine solo.
It may depend on your kids and the layout of the house. I would usually show our kids where they were sleeping and where we would be, and when they were small, make sure to practice walking to us a couple of times. I think we were good to sleep separately as long as it was an easy / short distance between us and the kids. I’d say most of my kids were fine with this by 3 for sure, maybe 2.5 for some and having a sib in the same room helped. My youngest has a bit of anxiety in new places, so up until around age 4 she wanted one of us to sit with her until she fell asleep but then was fine overnight.

We put the kids to bed on floor mats whenever we go and then come back when we’re ready to sleep. So the arrangement is different than home but we don’t have to sleep early.

We have always had our kids sleep in their own space- 3 and 1 and they usually struggle a little the first night but then do fine. Spend time in the room they’ll sleep, playing. Practice with them where they’ll lay. Make it a “special bed” in some way. Give them a shirt of moms to cuddle. Etc
