At what age were your kids able to sleep alone in an unfamiliar place (e.g., room in vacation home)? Last time we traveled with our two and three year olds we found my husband needed to share the room with them and then they were happy and slept… but it meant he had to go to bed at like 8/830 pm which kind of sucks. They are now 4 and 2.5… should they be able to go to sleep in the room together without him there? Are they old enough to understand and cooperate?

After the MLK holiday, our district is returning to traditional f2f teaching 100%. I have 4 band classes (1 beginning, 2 intermediate, & 1 advanced), and as far as content pacing is concerned, we’re 1 9-week grading period behind. Is it a far fetched goal to get my students where they need to be by the end of the school year? How would you handle a situation like this?
