Any leve with a competing offer. At the lower levels its usually easier to get this as opposed to extra cash.
Any level! Usually PTO is a compromise when we really love a candidate but can’t get them the dollars they are looking for. You can always ask your recruiter if that’s a possibility - recruiters are the middle men usually and we’ll be honest if that’s not something we can get you
any level if they’re trying to give you two weeks. Nobody needs to be putting up with that BS anymore.
I’m kind of sad for you that you’re a senior strat who clearly hasn’t ever negotiated for more PTO! Get that time off (at any level!)!!!

Any level! The job market is insane. Take advantage of this moment- and never be afraid to ask for more than you think- negotiate DOWN.
Any level
Depends on the agency. Smaller agencies are easier to negotiate, whereas a lot of big agencies are more set on their PTO policies. Mine doesn’t negotiate PTO except for exec levels, but even the most junior staff start out with about 8 weeks total (vacation, sick, holiday), so asking for more is kind of bananas. That’s basically saying you don’t really want to work much.
Yes
All levels - I always ask for more. Don’t ask don’t get.
In this market. Whenever the F you want.
But, like, how many is too many to ask for? Like, I’d the starting point is 15, would it be ridiculous to ask for 25?
Yes - great advice. Just don’t try to lie about it because odds are we’ve talked to other people from your agency and already know what your PTO policy is. 😉
