I’m looking for advice on career path. I’m interested in becoming an advisor (studying for CFP) coming from 3 years in hybrid FP analyst and paraplanner role. My team is located in CA and merged with a larger WA practice (both Ameriprise), however I live in Mass. Is it realistic to be a fully remote FA? Time zone not an issue. I used to travel 60,000 miles a year to meet clients. Now it's mostly virtual from my home office. I have clients choose virtual who live closer to my office than I do.
What is your experience and what do you have them do?

I sit in a chair for 9+ hours a day, I have a 49 mile commute so that's an additional almost 3 hours in the sitting position. Then I sit at home and study every other hour. ALL I DO IS SIT.
