I'm a manager and have been lead on 20 million of booked work with full time chargeability, but I don't get sales credit, just looking for accelerated promotion to 6 where sales credits hit
7.5 million in manager revenue? That's pretty impressive still. How long have you been a manager ? What's your total YOE? I hope you're on a fast track for promotion?
What is DL? And if you sold 20 million worth of contract why won't you get any sales credit ?

I was selling projects as a consultant, but usually it’s principal level that’s expected to sell and can have reduced utilization targets as a result.
I'm a senior and I started working on sales apart from my day to day. You just have to work the system. I identified some opportunities through some contacts and got permission from a partner to pursue it.
Now I try to keep my ears open. Every new handshake is a potential client. But business dev is an interest of mine, not my job. So I try to do it when it doesn't conflict with my daily responsibilities.
The best sales come from strong delivery. Which means you already are selling.
