I’m in the camp that if you can’t summarize yourself in one page, you aren’t good at getting to the point. Always keep to one page. No one really is going to look past the first one.
You have literally 10-15 seconds for someone to get the general idea of your background. No one is going to look at the 2nd page or likely even the bottom of your first page

If you tailor each resume to the actual job you are applying for, it is far easier to be concise. I leave off some projects that the recruiter won’t care about.
At that point your personal brand is established through experience. Think broader associations, not specific delivery examples. By now you’ve developed some sort of specialty in the industry. Start with that and place wisely worded one liners for significant projects.
Thanks. The trouble with broad associations is that it may not be evident what exactly you did/accomplished unless you get into project specifics. I am also focused in the LS industry, and exit opps are in Pharma/biotech. So a fine balance between too high level and not enough meat...

Don’t expect someone to read the second page

Never more than one page.
IMHO: your precious 3 jobs are the most important / relevant. Focus the real estate on that.
If you have had 7 jobs and graduated less than 15 years ago, then it’s a red flag to me that you won’t be here long enough to be useful before moving on. You won’t impress me with your “diversity of experience”. You are better off just leaving it off the resume.
Thanks everyone - general consensus seems to have confirmed what I assumed.
Is it okay if the bullets are a single line? Since it seems short and succinct is the way to go.
Also, can I tease out competencies from the same engagement into separate bullets? Someone above said to make broad associations vs individual project examples. I have designed my resume to list out my projects, but seems like this is not the right approach?
