Accounts - how do you successfully pushback against a client who has no understanding of timelines/production process and always wants shit done yesterday.
So I just had my first big boy week (Redeye, traveling to different client sites), and I'm way more tired vs staying up late working....fuck
Am I entitled to be annoyed in this situation? A Manager never joins calls for a SAP project I am working on that they should be attending. This results in me having to lead them (supposed to be their job). When we have calls with the Leadership though - they try to set a call up with me before to get a complete update on progress so they can "communicate it"- effectively acting like they have been involved and been contributing. Any idea on how to handle this?
Currently have a PwC Lenovo, client 1 hp, client 2 dell, and portable monitor. Best backpack/tote/roll-y basket to Sherpa haul these daily?
Has anyone made a successful transfer from an EM/EL position at MBB to a VP at a BB ibank, or vice versa? I know the skillsets are different but wouldn’t they even out at the project management level?
If you don’t want to buy breakfast in the airport while traveling, is it unreasonable to buy something healthier the night before to eat in the morn & expense it? Guess it depends on client policies

Question. Have two project opportunities...one that is really exciting, one that is basic. Exciting ends 11/22, basic ends 12/15. Are 2 extra weeks of util. worth giving up something I want?
Need a branding expert’s help. Client wants logo design revised with Pantone 3517. This color is on the Pantone site but not in our new Pantone books or Adobe programs. Why?
Cont from other thread: Name a city that other consultants would probably be able to identify the client at. Also name the client for those who don’t know. I.e. Kohler, WI = Kohler Co.

I’m planning to put in my two weeks in late dec/ early Jan (waiting for a work visa to transfer to the new job). I’m trying to lay low but I’m about to roll off my current project and a manager I really liked working with has already called dibs to staff me in a very visible/ great role in Jan with a client he says is very important to him. I don’t know how to tell him not to pitch me for this without revealing that I might be leaving soon. Hate doing this but don’t know how not just ‘go with it
I have to pay almost $500 a month to get to my "local" client site. Who can I complain to about this if my manager doesn't let me bill in? I can't afford this on my average salary.
Total girl power moment today- SM is considering bringing on another analyst and his top two options are female, but he voiced concern about bringing either on bc of client environment... cont.

I’m currently interviewing for a promotion for an executive director role in NYC that I think I have a pretty good chance of getting (assuming the comp discussions go in my favor.) The office is located in Midtown East. My wife and I don’t have any children yet and I am unwilling to live in a 500 ft apt so I’m looking outside the city. I need some suggestions on where to live with keeping my commute under an hour.
Anyone know how to get out of this post lay off slump? Got laid off early this week and it has absolutely crushed my confidence. So anxious knowing agencies arent hiring in nyc right now too...

I'm seeing a lot of social media posts from medical professionals disparaging people for not wearing masks. Maybe we should direct some of our outrage at the government and public health systems that have utterly failed its citizens
