An LLC just gives a bit of protection/separation between your personal assets and business assets. I’m assuming by sole proprietor you mean just working under your name and social. I would never do that personally. But for tax purposes it all gets reported the same — Schedule C. (Unless you have partners)
Echo this. Use an LLC to limit your personal exposure. I.e if your company goes bankrupt, you are not personally liable.
For a sole proprietorship, your personal assets are fair game.
