Hi Folks,
My wife has 5 years of experience in Banking Industry now she want to switch her career in IT, she has worked as coding instructor for html/css/js/react native, she has React certification as well. Now she is ready to take interviews.
Now how to convey this to recruiters and are they ok to take interview for frontend developer, how much experience can be considered and what salary can be expected?
I have a weird experience with KPMG India . Two weeks ago I had salary negotiation with the HR manager. He told me that the offer will be released in a couple of days but I haven't received the offer letter yet.I tried reaching out to the HR manager but didn't receive any response. Shall I take it as no?

Hi Fishes, I cleared technical and MCQ round at Accenture. And got a mail stating i have been selected for HR round. Later the same day a hr called and asked me to upload all documents and asked my expected CTC and stuff. Earlier in portal it was showing interviewing , now it shows review or pending and has a message ' we regret to inform that you experience does not align with req, we will contact if anything comes up' , what does this mean. How can they put something like this?

$50k not in NYC. About $90k in NYC.
Couldn’t do the renting and roommates. Rather commute from home. Had to wait till salary was at $110+ and saved for a while then bought a house (small and cheap one).
At $120k
Around 70k. Could no longer deal with roommates. Was definitely living beyond my means for a few years. My apartment was rent stabilized though so that helped.

Damn. I’m at that range now and couldn’t imagine renting my own place
$27K when I was 22. But that was in 2006, and rent was 1/4th of what it is now. But I also had bed bugs for roommates, and was on the top floor of a walk up.
The bedbug part. Crazy conditions.

I've been living solo since I graduated in 2008 in KS, CA, Chicago. All cheaper than here of course and I still went and did more school after.
