Sorry no additional advice but interested too! People seem confident values are definitely going to rise but doesn't seem certain to me... are there certain areas you're targeting already?

Yep I have enough properties that I'd get by if I lost my job and to supplement my retirement. Bought most between 2009 and 2015. Best advice is to read Bigger Pockets and take all the free education they offer. Consultants are usually in a good position to invest because we have good income and credit. Be careful of the current market, I think we're due for a correction.

Establish a relationship with a good Realtor who work with investors - I lucked out and had a friend in the business. Going through my first multi family purchase now. Having good credit and access to the down payment definitely made it easy when I was looking for financing. I used LoopNet, RedFin, Realtor.com but most opportunities were from my realtor. Things are moving quickly in ATL.

Mistakes are the learned lessons to a better career. But every time I have made a mistake, it seems like it is the end of the world. I want to hear stories...of a time where you made a mistake and your superiors did not freak out, but used it as a lesson for you. does that exist anywhere?

My final round panel interview was 5 weeks ago. It went really well, but at the end of the interview the hiring managers told me I was the first one they interviewed and the application process just started so I might not hear from them for a while. Do you think there’s still hope. Last connected with HR 3 weeks ago & he said they’re still interviewing and he’d let me know if I had next steps.

I just started working at a Digital Strategy Consulting Boutique firm but the company is in Europe and we work in another language entirely. I started off as an intern (8 months) and now I am working full time. I am trying to learn the language to be more interactive with the clients and in the meetings but it's super difficult. Should I switch or learn the language and stay here for another year? It's a small firm and the pay is not that great but good for beginners in the country. Any advice?

Question on H-1B and LCA. 1) If one lives in New Jersey and works in New York and LCA is already filed and confirmed for H-1B, do they need to file another LCA with home address now that they work from home due to covid? 2) Also, for state tax withholding, HR might need to update “employer work location” on HR profile. Does that require filing of H-1B amendment - maybe it is considered employer address changes? Does it require another LCA? Stick both LCA on wall?
