Saw the new ones they were building, starting at 500k...nothing in ATL is worth that when u throw in the I'm sure bloated condo fee. Find a nice row house
Yeah gentrification seems like the move. Can't afford any actually nice houses/town homes in nice areas anyway
Same boat here. Trying to figure out whether to buy a condo there or a house in a cheaper neighborhood and invest in renovations
Don't do it!!!! ATL condos always crash and you lose your ass
😱 so just go for the house?
My conundrum is being at GT for next 2-3 years and benefiting from convenience of location in midtown and lower monthly costs than paying rent... Or pick an area still on the edge of gentrification that might make for a better investment. I don't have the discipline to own a house at this time.
Always buy a house if you can. Only land value appreciates overtime. If you're coming in as an investor, Rather than investing $500k on a condo, I'd buy a townhouse slightly outside of midtown/buckhead and do some projects to increase the property value.
It's getting more expensive every day.
