Hi everyone,
I am looking for someone to take over my 2Bed/2Bath lease in 420 E Ohio (Streeterville) starting in November (flexible). The apartment, the building amenities and neighborhood are truly AWESOME, but I got a new job outside of IL and will be relocating. Message me if interested!

Xfinity is Comcast and you want to avoid them if you can.
If AT&T Gigabit internet is available in your area, it's actually really good value for what you get.
Comcast is notorious for being one of the worst companies for customer service. Lots of memes about them. Speaking from personal experience as a past customer now with AT&T, I agree, Comcast was terrible both in terms of actual internet and customer service.
ATT fiber $60/month unless you live in a fly over state

Check out T-mobile. They just came out with home internet.

Apparently I’m a minority but I’ve had xfinity gig speed for 3 years and zero issues
AT&T obviously
If you can get Google WiFi in your area get that!

For context I’m comparing btwn two plans:
1. AT&T 500mbps at $55/mo
2. Xfinity 400 mbps at $50/mo
Equipment fee included, 1 yr contracts for both

Not sure would have to check but hopping

I wish we had more choice. More choice would lead to better prices. For speed and service though, I have no issues with Xfinity in my area. Reliability is really good. I get the speeds I am paying for. When the pandemic hit, I paid extra for no data cap. I have no TV service though. I stream or download everything.
When you say wifi, do you really just mean Internet service? Or is the modem / wifi router that you will rent apart of the question?
Okay, some people prefer to use their own devices so they don’t have to buy something like the XFi pods, which will only work with and xfinity router, to expand their wifi. If you have your own router you’re not locked into the providers proprietary devices.

Lol at all the ppl from AT&T & Comcast saying their service is the best
I’d say ask your neighbors if possible they’re gonna be able to tell you what their experiences are like. I had AT&T in Austin, Texas and once a tech came to fix stuff it worked great. Now I’m in Portland, OR and have Comcast and same thing once a tech came out and fixed things no issues.
Bottom line: fiber is a better choice than cable.
