Hi all, I received an offer for $100k to work as an analyst at MBB but I’m in a weird position given that I have 0-1 years of work experience but I have a Master’s degree (not an MBA). I think that I would fall somewhere in-between analyst and associate categories. Should I try to negotiate for a salary 10% higher?

My husband is an Facilities Infrastructure Program Manager, and wants to pivot to the Cloud world. He's not familiar with software development much. I’m a first year transactional associate. I love tattoos, but so far have been getting mine in only places I can easily hide. I’m getting tired of that, though, and want to start moving onto my arms and lower legs (I’m a woman, and I do enjoy wearing dresses to the office especially in the spring and summer).

I don’t really face clients except on Zoom, and even post-Covid I don’t see that changing due to the nature of our meetings.
