Audit senior here thinking of taking a year or two to travel the world. How do you think this will hurt my job search when I return? What are the chances of my firm taking me back after 2 years?

Where would you go internationally to celebrate a milestone bday? Not as big of a partier anymore but am a huge foodie and prefer destinations that provide a lot to do (whether active/sporty or sight seeing, I’m not into beach lounging/just sitting around). AUS is the only place on my bucket list but inflation + travel industry changes are increasing the budget of that trip to an amount I feel is more appropriate for a honeymoon and not just a 2 week trip 😅

Am I being underpaid? I earn £52.5k + £52.5k. Corporate AE (companies with 1000-5000 employees), 2 YOE as an AE, although I was an SDR for 2 years too (in my first year at current company).
