Automatic watch accuracy: how do you guys deal with the +/- (2 sec in my case) variances on your watches? Just accept it?

Never been an issue at all....except for when I’m synchronizing with my squad for the occasional bank heist

Um, COSC certification is -4/+6 seconds per day. +/- 2 seconds is Rolex level (what they call Superlative Chronometer). Acceptance is the answer.

M1 what kind of watches?

Buy a better watch? You shouldn’t be skipping 4 seconds in a day

like

+/- 2 seconds a day is phenomenal. Think about it - there are 86,400 seconds in a day. If you gain or lose 2 seconds, that’s 99.998% accuracy. Pretty good to me - I reset my watch about once a month

like

No way to deal with it, part of the charm of an automatic IMO

....2 seconds is a concern? If it’s 2 seconds daily, and in 3 months your watch is off, then it needs to be serviced.

Get an Apple Watch...only kidding. I just accept it.

Pull the crown for 2 seconds every single day to keep accuracy. But don’t pull it for 3!

All watches are slightly off but as long as you’re not off by 3 minutes a day I think you’ll be okay

Wanted to know if its the same across Deloitte, PwC and other Consulting firms - the quadrant for good ratings
Even if you deliver exceptionally, that is just 1 of the 4 quadrants in which you'll be judged - and it may not be enough to get a good bonus/hike
You need to prove in the other 3 quadrants as well - like generating revenue, certifications, what you are offering to EY in terms of knowledge sharing or training, etc.
