Besides the obvious of LinkedIn, Upwork, Indeed, Google Jobs - lately I haven’t found much luck in those areas for the past few months since I’m trying to find a flexible part time gig to supplement my full time job. I've always been asked why I found a "proper" job at my 30s and wasted my years in unrelated jobs like call centers and inhouse calls for installing Windows.

I can't seem to make them understand that in 2008, it was impossible to find an IT job in Greece as a woman. I had certifications and knowledge but I couldn't even get a callback. I would send the same CV as a man, and they would call immediately.

Now things are different but still this question comes up and I'm struggling to answer it.

HELP! 30+ years of teaching Sped and I’m at a loss. 6th grade student in Middle School with Doose syndrome. Prior to MS, the elementary said he never caused problems. Since the 1st day, he is disruptive in class, refuses to work, and is disrespectful. He has a one-on-one para but she is in tears most days because of his behavior. Parents agreed with a behavior plan - he thinks it’s a game. Parents say he is not allowed to be this way at home.

Quick question on thank you notes, I just had an interview for a project manager role over teams and the team goes into the office just twice a week(hybrid). I was thinking of sending a physical thank you card to the office just to add a nice little touch but I feel like it may not get to them correctly in the office since it’s not a permanent desk situation.
