What kind of split does your firm give you for bringing in cases? Trying to negotiate with my firm for an increase. Currently, I get 15% plus my base salary.

Hello, Need an advice on my offer from Deloitte. I am on OPT and looking for H1B sponsorship this year, recruiter said they will do it but I am wondering if I join after 2 weeks will they be able to do it as there won’t be much time left. My current company will file H1 for me. I got an offer for a consultant role at D with 25$k extra than my current salary and 10$k sign in bonus but I am currently working as a Sr Con. Is it advisable to take a risk in my case considering H1 as a priority?

I’ve been at my firm for 8/9 years and I am looking to jump ship ASAP due to what people are telling me is an underpaid salary. But the managing partner says if I stick it out another 6 months and hit big hours all of those months, he’ll “submit me for partner.” I don’t intend to stick around here long term, it would just be for the title.
