Think this is antiquated thinking. “Human capital” at the two big 4 firms I’ve worked has been much more than HR. Like, HR is a fragment of the work. Much of the work bumps up to strategy, technology enablement, post merger integration etc.

Also FWIW demand for human capital services from at least Deloitte, EY, Accenture seems to be through the roof.

Did the math. After accounting for non-billable travel and 80hr work weeks I'm making $13.25/hr. This whole $15.00 minimum wage argument never made it up the pipeline to big 4 leadership
