Anything that can be sterilized properly is fair game! I asked our lactation consultant specifically about anything feeding related and she said to give everything a good wash and boil when bringing it out of storage, but otherwise fine. That being said, technically you’re supposed to replace nipples and pacifiers every 3 months regardless of who uses them, because the nipples can crack. I definitely don’t replace them that often, but I do check regularly for cracks and have found breakage around ~6 months. I ended up replacing most of the nipples for my second because they were just looking/feeling worn. I also replaced the duckbill valves on my pump for similar reasons.
