Does anyone feel terrified about the prospect of being a Partner as a woman, especially if/when you have a family? Single right now and thinking of having a baby on my own. Sometimes jealous that it seems it's not much easier for men. Maybe this is not just Partnership, but relevant for senior leadership position anywhere? Has anyone seen role models that have made it work? Any key characteristics / takeaways?

Helloo, need some advice! My husband and I are both consultants and work crazy hours. Recently we had a baby and it’s becoming quite hard for me to manage both. My husband doesn’t support much with baby care, says he cannot find time and tells me to take it easy on the career front if I’m struggling. I don’t want to do that, I’m trying to juggle both and feel resentful 24/7 at him. It’s creating distance in our marriage. Anyone been in a similar situation- how did you manage?

Ladies, do any of you find it hard to have quality sleep while stressed? In theory I could still have 7 hours sleep but since I’m stressful from work, my brain is also so active, I couldn’t fall in sleep quickly even very exhausted and wake up multiple times in night. I’m pregnant also so don’t want to take pills. Any good advise?

I just got my positive pregnancy test yesterday and I'm freaking out. First pregnancy (I'm 32), my husband and I just started trying last month and I didn't expect it would happen so soon! I feel like every time I look something up it's something I can't do (caffeine, exercise, food, etc). How do you ladies manage it all with our careers? I'm just so nervous to be able to make everything work with a baby. Would appreciate any advice!

Does anyone have thoughts on a nanny vs daycare for an infant? I’m currently pregnant with twins and joining waitlists for daycares for post-maternity leave but most waitlists are VERY long and a lot of my friends have gone with a nanny. For context, I’m a senior associate in a busy transactional practice, my husband is in house (works much less than me) and my parents live in the same city and are willing to help but not be full time care.

Are there any mothers here who voluntarily gave primary custody to the kids father? I love my children fiercely but tbh I don’t think I’m cut out to be a single parent. Family and friends tell me I’m a great mom but at the end of the day having them on my own is exhausting and I end up just either letting them do whatever they want Bc I don’t feel strong enough to set a limit about it, or yelling at them. They’re 4 and 7 for reference. Please constructive responses only. Thank you!

Hi guys

This question may not be related. However I wanted to know from personal and family point of view how it is like to relocate from India and live abroad .
Let's say Family consists of husband , wife and a kid . I understand we will get good facilities, education, cleanliness , good air etc , however I wanted to check whether people gel up easily in the new environment? Don't they feel loneliness/ difficult to adjust? Do they look for similar asian nationalities to kill boredom?

Did you find yourselves freaking out before maternity leave or am I the odd one out here? I’m so worried about leaving my work behind, inconveniencing other people, not having accomplished enough before I leave, and so much else. I also don’t know how soon I should leave before her due date. I was hoping to wing it and leave when it’s no longer bearable to work or up until I go into labor, but keep hearing this is a horrible idea. Any tips/words of wisdom? TIA
