Kids are super impressive. We don’t give them enough credit. Also fwiw 99 isn’t typically considered a fever in kids, I believe the cutoff is 100 though everyone seems to have different thresholds.

Initially I read this like it was a threat 👀

Yeah 99 isn’t a fever for anyone, much less young kids who run hot

like

Pediatricians say a fever is 100.4 or higher.

Anyone else tire of the “plant mom” and “dog dad” me too conversation? It seems to be more frequent. For example, company says, “Parents, please share pictures of working from home with your kids during Covid” for a diversity and inclusion project. Undoubtedly someone responds, “what about my plant babies? 🤣”. I don’t want sympathy but I find it childish. Just give us the courtesy of understanding that plants and pets are not the same. Stop “me too’ing”

“A child really isn’ that expensive in the first 3-4 years” ~ Spouse 7 months ago. Our bank account after 7 months of pregnancy says otherwise. Want to buy property in / near NYC. I know with covid prices in the city (I’m assuming the 5 boroughs) went down, while prices outside of the city went up. Is that enough of a move in the market to make it worth it to buy in the city (and not in Long Island for example)?

It's been around 14 weeks since I filed my tax returns along with a new ITIN application for my wife through an in person appointment at the local Chicago office. My profile is still not available on the "Where's my refund" page. Called the ITIN helpline couple weeks back and they said neither application was in the system yet and this could be due to covid processing delays. Anyone else facing lengthy delays for ITIN / tax refunds. Thanks!
