Im in industry: I’m Sr manager at $145 with promo expected this quarter. when I was offered the comp at hire 1 yea go, it was leveled at manager, I negotiated bonus and level but wasn’t hard on base as they met my request. My boss is offering a promo now to back fill a role that was filled by a director. Way bigger role, 7 directs but will have it AD, the company won’t let me get director although he agrees it’s fair. Am I getting ripped off with a 10% raise? I already got merit etc.

On the other hand, i am in talk with 2 companies and i have high chances of getting an offer atleast from one of them but its gonna take around 10-15 days.
Company A is not willing to push joining date for that long, is it advisable to join the company and leave within a month as soon as i have other offer?

Hello! I'm looking to make a change into healthcare consulting. I have a B.S in public health and minor in biology and I've been working for a health insurance company for 2.5 years.Are there any healthcare recruiters or people with a similar education background in consulting be available for a coffee chat?

After reading through a lot of these bowls, while considering to pivot to consulting for the first time, I see a lot of negative aspects about the field. Is it really all that terrible? Is a 40 hour work week not a reality in consulting? Is there specific bad and good experiences people can share so that I may make an informed decision before pivoting careers?

I'm worried now about the job I interviewed for yesterday. I sent a thank you email and the guy's response ended with "Best of luck and stay well". On the other hand he did say he doesn't really have final say on who they choose and I still have to meet the CEO.
