Back sleepers, how did you manage to not sleep on your back later in pregnancy? I keep waking up, conscious that I'm on my back, and roll over on my side, but the cycle repeats because I keep ending up on my back.

I'm only 16 weeks, but I've been trying to train myself to sleep on my side for about a week since I know I'll need to later in pregnany. Not sleeping on my back is way harder than I thought it'd be.

By the time you should be avoiding sleeping on your back it’ll most likely be uncomfortable to do so. Don’t worry about it too much.

You would need a pregnancy pillow that blocks you from rolling in your sleep.

Hi all! I had my first ultrasound yesterday morning (~36 hours), and now I am having steady dark pink spotting with dark mucus. Has anyone experienced the same or similar? The ultrasound went well, but with this new spotting I’m getting worried. Too late to call now, so looking for similar experiences.

I’m just so sick of seeing pregnant influencers with perfectly round stomachs frolicking around in overly fashionable clothing. I’m 8 weeks and because I’m on estrogen and progesterone I already have a stomach and am so bloated. I have acne and just feel like a total troll. I know better to not look at social media as a comparison but can’t these women do even a little bit to make pregnancy realistic? Or suggestions for some actually helpful accounts to follow?

Maternity policy change question! I am a few weeks out from going on mat leave but just got an email today that our maternity policy is changing for 2023 and they’re adding another month. Anyone experience exhaustion setting in at the end of second trimester? First trimester came with exhaustion like I have never experienced before and then most of second trimester has been more or less back to normal energy levels. Currently at 26 weeks and have been totally dragging for the past week or more. Does anyone have tips for getting through this?

My 6-month-old is not gaining weight. The baby is in the 60 percentile in terms of height but the 3 percentile in terms of weight.
The baby is active and sharp; everything else is all good. The pediatrician has prescribed anti-reflux medicine but that hasn’t helped much. We say a GI and GI wants to do some trial and error. However, we are scared of the side effects. Has anyone been through this? What worked for you?

I just had my first baby last week- Aug 11. My labor started quick but I was stuck pushing for about 5 hrs and ultimately had to get a c section due to his head positionAfter being discharged from the hospital I have had these killer headaches- basically feels like a ton of pressure, so much so at times if I stand or sit down I have to lay down to relieve the pressure. My doc doesn’t think it’s an epidural headache but I don’t know what else it could be. Has anyone experienced this before?

Ridiculous question but we are pregnant and so excited! But we just recently renovated our home (bought nice furniture, put hardwoods in etc) and my annoying brother and SIL just keep commenting on how much toddlers destroy homes and that ours will be screwed bc it’s very modern.
