There are MS programs.

Many parts to supply chain. What drives your interest?

Procurement life cycle is a great place to start. A CPSM certification will give you knowledge on it.

Engineering and math drive the supply chain

Technology is perhaps the best area to learn like ERP and best of breed software.

For learning, you don't need a degree but read through leading publications for the SC areas you are interested in. There are publications for logistics, manufacturing, etc.

I have a CS background and think I'd find it more stimulating than what I'm doing now (cyber risk)

Why specifically and what are you doing now?

A cert would get you started. Join trade groups, check out ISM, and seriously consider a CPSM. That will help you without having direct experience. My background is from that field, worked the entire life cycle of SCM in many forms. Let me know if you want more info, happy to share and give specific info.

I think one of my biggest gripes with being forced to RTO is the fact that it’s “safe to be in the office” to promote f2f interaction and camaraderie but the second someone suggests a team building exercise, it becomes “too dangerous while the pandemic is still going on”. Hi everyone,
I am a 2021 Mechanical Engineer graduate but now working in TCS as Assistant System Engineer and I want to make a career transition to my core Branch as Design Engineer or Automotive Engineer because I was always interested in those but didn't have opportunities then also I have developed my skills and acquired specialization in CAD and Digital Manufacturing. Is the switch possible, if Yes can anyone give me some suggestions, tips or guidance to do so.
