Hello everyone, I have a L1 VISA+NIE approved on May 2021. Due to the extension of NIE, can I go to Europe for tourism and comeback to USA without any concerns? Do you know if there are some tricky points to consider? Thanks
It's almost frustrating to find another job at the 5th year of H1B. What do you guys suggest? EY is pretty scary when it comes to expectations (managers/Sr.Managers I work with) who can screw me over any time. And the climate of layoffs. Only thing holding me back is the GC for which perm is still in process
If you’re working for an employer where you work from home 2 days a week will that be a problem? I’m on H1B and trying to figure out how flexible it is on work locations.
My H1B Case Status was updated to, “Name was updated.” The message read, “On May 7, 2020, we updated your name for your Form I-129, Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker, Receipt Number WAC12xxxxxxxxx.”I never requested a name change, and I don’t think the lawyers did either because I checked my files application and my name was correct. Does this means my petition probably will be denied?
Got a new job in commercial real estate, i got laid off from D. Its good money, in nyc but i am still super depressed. I am not excited for my job, i dont want this but i had to take it due to my visa and no other offers. I can't feel gratitude and it makes it worse.
Something I keep thinking about, if a person has an approved i140 why can’t they extend their h1 for ten years like the tourist visa? Instead why and how did this whole extension for three years come into place? Is it just for the uscis to have work or just for the fees?
Do I have to file an amendment on my h1b, approved in June, getting promoted to manager on January 1 and have my appointment on January 14th
Currently on my h1b visa which is expiring in 2021, but then it can be renewed/extended for another 3 years. When does company like Big 4 start the green card process?
Might lose my visa status soon and can move to India/Canada on same salaries. We will be having a baby soon. Any thoughts/suggestions on which country? We are thinking India
Anyone know of an article that covers what exec orders on immigration are being signed tomorrow?
Anyone who went through the premium processing for the H1B transfer? How long did it take?
Here are mostly people who studied and then got H1B or came from India to US directly on H1B. My brother wants to do MS and confused if it is worth it to spend so much money given current situation
Does anyone know Accenture’s GC policy? Do they sponsor green cards for H1B transfers from India? Also is there a certain level reqd for EB-1 e.g Manager & above eligible for EB1 as with other firms
For those of you who want the consulates to start normalizing the regular visa appointment process, please sign this petition http://chng.it/CphYDBxd8F
Does EY withdraw approved I-140 after leaving the firm, particularly if it's within 180 days? Our immigration policy says "The firm will withdraw sponsorship upon termination" but kinda vague and I wonder what the real life cases be like? Thanks!
Trying to apply for marriage based green card as H1B has been rejected. What do you recommend? Do it on our own, get a lawyer, or get EY law to help?
Does anyone know if H-1B visa TRANSFERS also have a hold on premium processing? If so, until when? Any supporting links will also be appreciated

I am buying a car for the first time in my life and I have heard varying opinions on buying used. Any fish care to weigh in with theirs experiences? I don’t want to spend more than ~45k
Experienced Hire - what's the expected bump from Consultant to Sr. Consultant (% or $). Apologies if this has been covered previously.
Should I take a year off work to travel? Why or why not? If you’ve done something similar, could you share your experience? Any regrets? Any advice?
Did any of you stay in consulting even though you knew you were ready to leave just so that you could plot a stronger exit? I don’t hate my job but I don’t love it (tech consulting).
