Hi fishes, in urgent need of your suggestions.
One of my friend is having offer from Oracle Pune for software developer role in Oracle store team. but he does not have clear idea of the role whether it will be operations, support or development work.
Does anyone know what kind of work is there in store team. Also, is it possible to change the project once we get inside?

If you can land a manager role with that significant of an increase in salary, do it.
Go get that bread!
Your post doesn’t really explain why you think you’re qualified for a manager role after 3 months in the role and a few years of unrelated experience in another business field. It’s not likely unless I’m overlooking something here.
The role you have pays somewhere between slightly below to just about market for your background and the fact it’s fully remote. You’re struggling with it because you want to live in a major city. You’ll need to find something local or consider relocating to take advantage of the remote work.
You better have a good story since this was a pivot role and you’re almost immediately leaving it claiming you should be promoted.
My combined experience is the reason I am qualified for a manager role. I have led a team in my prior role. I have demonstrated in the past that I am able to define problems, seek & collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions to be able to create and deliver presentations to senior management. Moreover, my motive for getting an MBA was solely for me to shift into a management role (I did not need an MBA given my existing master’s in finance already held it weight in the market). Further, this new role did not come with a pay increase with respect to my prior role, but this new role does provide me more access to C-level management and the associated stress that come along with competing priorities. I also believe my new role is a management role in nature just not in title or pay.
You’ve been in a new role for 3 mos?
Fully remote but still in a HCOL city seems like something to reconsider. If you’re dead set on HCOL then better pay would be worth looking for imo
Bread is expensive these days so get it! Haha if you can ever get a 50% raise by switching I think you should take it.
