Currently working as a Senior Auditor at EY, Toronto, focusing on public listed multinational companies . My ultimate goal is to become a lawyer and i am wondering if its a good idea to try for a Senior Associate role in Mergers and Acquisition transaction services line to get an idea and to help my personal statement for my law school application to show i am already equipped with experience from accounting perspective in mergers and acquisitions which lawyers deal with a lot. I've just recently been hired as an assistant manager at a Canadian outlet store. It's a small company in comparison to others, but there are over 10 locations spanning western Canada and NW united states. I'm curious as to what others in a similar position are getting as salary. I was offered $42k plus bonuses at the interview, but when called back I was offered $44.5k plus bonuses. I already accepted. Did I leave money on the table here?

What are the benefits of hiring an MBA admission consultant? Is it recommended to get one?

I’m interviewing for a an EA role to CEO, who is also interviewing for a chief of staff. CEO has alluded to me being a great CoS based on recent exp, and longer term COO and has asked if I’m going to find the EA role limiting. Do I address my interest in the CoS role, plus gaps in my experience or do I focus on the EA role and finding opps to add value outside of EA responsibilities without stepping on the CoS toes? I really want to work for this CEO & don’t want to talk myself out of the EA job

Currently working in tech, leaving for MBA ideally followed by MBB. Thinking ahead because of pre MBA events and long term partner. Paying sticker for MBA with loans, partner in school for 2-3 years after MBA. Which offices should I consider to build quick NW/pay off debt, build strong network in tech in/outside the firm, provide QOL similar to my unconstrained choices (LA or NYC)?
