Search on Bain portal. It takes 5 seconds to find the new policy doc.

... Bain portal says "Y-up" - my question is what is the difference between this and first, especially on BTO?

1. Google Y Up fares. 2. Call BTO to book that class fare and they'll take care of it.

"Y" class stands for 'full-fare' economy (I.e. The most expensive coach ticket) and then up is self explainable. Can purchase any ticket that's Y class or first

If you got hired at the absolute bottom of the payband, I gave my salary expectations which was unknowingly less than my offer a few months back, is it possible to renegotiate a raise to at least the middle of the payband, come the performance review, raises, and bonus meeting, especially given inflation? In addition my firm’s new base payband for my position as an external higher is posted at 31% higher than my current salary.

I recently left big 4 to take a private equity role at a large firm. In my offer letter they included a “target bonus rate” which seemed a bit low for the role and firm based on my knowledge of the firm. Wonder if anyone has encountered a clause like this before? My honest impression was that it was written in more like it was a conservative estimate if things are very mediocre performance wise by me and the firm but obviously I don’t want to overset expectations. Has anyone else seen this?
