Balancing work and studying/now MBA applications has me so burnt out. Is there anyone here in the same boat or has been through the process? Please tell me it gets better! 😭

Went through it last year! It’s really overwhelming/time consuming, but it’s very temporary and will all be worth it when those acceptances start rolling through! Idk what Kearney is like, but at my firm I pulled back from all internal initiatives and only did work directly related to my project which freed up some time. Also I’ve now had more free time than I’ve known what to do with since I got accepted in December (esp bc I gave zero f*cks at work once I got in), so you have that to look forward to 🤗

Congrats!! Thank you this is so encouraging:) it feels like I'm at the base of a tall mountain but I need to remind myself I'm already on my way up!

Same here! I spend a lot of time on weekends studying and barely feel like I have time to relax

Feel this so hard. I sacrificed exercising / hanging out with friends for studying. Paid off in the end but now essays..

I am looking to gain certification or other credentialing in diversity and inclusion, not only because it would look good on my resume both for future job-search purposes and also to become better educated in this area, which is growing in importance. I looked at SHRM's "Inclusive Workplace Culture Specialty Credential" and got a bit of "sticker shock" at the cost - $1,655.00 for members. Does anyone have other suggestions on training/credentialing in this area?

Hello! I have a two part question: 1) is it worth it to obtain an SHRM specialty credential if I don’t have the broader SHRM certification? 2) has anyone gotten the People Analytics or Talent Acquistion credential? If so, how valuable was it from a learning perspective? Do you feel it significantly contributed to your knowledge in either area? Thank you!

Does anybody have advice/know about resources for folks whose anxiety is severely triggered by interviewing? Does anybody know a coach or somebody to practice with to try to build up some confidence?

Applied to a couple product manager positions with companies I was very excited about. Received rejection emails from 2 within a couple days of applying. Any advice? Would you re-apply via a different channel? Try to connect with people who work there on LinkedIn? Just feels like the door got slammed in my face without anyone peeking through the peephole.

I recently left a pretty good summer internship to take a full time job and I regret it. I have been losing sleep over it all summer. And after remote work ends, the job would be in a high cost of living city as well. Due to this, I am looking at switching jobs again. I feel terrible about starting my career as a job hopper. Despite getting interviews at good companies, nothing is making me feel better about this situation. I don’t know how to handle the thoughts racing in my mind.
