Go touch every passenger with your peanut bar!! Such a fun flight!!
Please don't , kids die because of peanut particles in the air. If you don't want to be a baby killer better not open them
What the heck? Kid should be wearing a mask rather than parents inflicting trouble on others.
You are fine, the airline just doesn't want the liability.
Agree with above but be cautious about eating and disposal of wrapper. My child has a life threatening allergy to peanuts but only if he ingests it. Ingesting could be touching stuff that had nuts (like a tray table) and then putting his hands in his mouth (as kids do).
Usually flight attendant will also notify people in the same row as the person with the allergy.
@OP I have better things to do than go to the parties you go to 🤷🏻♂️
Remember that wisdom from pwc 3 for when Obamacare gets repealed and 99% of the country can’t avoid healthcare
Maybe everyone takes things a little too seriously on here. May I suggest a PB&J sandwich to relieve things?
People take this seriously because it's life or death for some people. Especially on a flight with no hospital care or doctors.
They're not serving because of cross contamination. As long as you don't go touching everything with the peanut bars it's not a big deal.
Pwc1: you’re always the fun one at the party aren’t you?
Thanks for the info D1! I’ll also try not to sneeze
Let your conscience be your guide
@OP, PwC1 doesn’t have it quite right. The main concern is usually peanut dust. A solid bar could be ok (not an expert here), but peanut dust can cause trouble for the highly allergic: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/travel/news/ryanair/Ryanair-bans-passenger-after-girl-suffers-nut-allergy-reaction/
Thanks for the link, EY3. Holy crap. OP, don't open the bars. Take this seriously, and ask for some pretzels or something.
Peanuts have aflotoxin, dont eat
Way to validate the stereotypes that consultants have no souls. You’re all on those “cost-saving/headcount-reduction” projects aren’t you. Fuck
