For those who want to talk back. Keep drinking the koolaid and letting them walk all over you. You'll show them just how much they need to do to respect you. I swear PA is filled with a bunch of bitches with no backbones.
I got the same "stipend" and "submit first 5 pages" message from them. I'm also on a family plan so I needed to do the math for them and explain that once you take out device and insurance and divide by number of lines, mine comes to $62... therefore I actually deserve the full $50, not that I put it in as a stipend. Those emails back and forth easily cost more than the expense...
You should definitely tell the partner you are deleting the email app. Will get you far in your professional career
I don't understand what the issue is. If you get $50, why are they checking? Did you submit more than $50 for reimbursement?
Anyway if I get this kickback this month I'm tellin my PM and partner that I'm deleting the email app from my phone if that's the case
What a fucking hassle. Wouldn't it be much easier and cheaper to just have you submit it one time and then you get $50 a month without having to submit anything further? Actually paying someone to audit this seems more expensive than just giving employers $50 without looking.
What pissed me off the most was the email. Quote "cell phone reimbursement is NOT a stipend." K
I'm about to blow a fuse on our expense people.
Wow, I thought we got screwed over when they reduced everyone (partner's included) to $60 a month.
Wait you have to submit your phone bill every month to get the reimbursement? It's not like just an automatic $50?
Really grateful PwC just pulls your line into their plan. Haven't seen a phone bill since I started
I'm on a family plan so it *looks* like my line is only $20 (after taking out insurance and monthly device payment, which are NOT reimbursable). Planning to move the $130 plan charge to my line and see what happens
I got rejected on this one, too. Because they only reimburse for the service, literally nothing else, and my bill didn't have the actual service charges on it because only the account holder gets that bill. So now I have to bother my mom every month to give me the full bill to send them. It's $50 max, but you can't run $50 if it doesn't cost $50, and they're checking the bills a lot more closely to figure out how much the service only costs.
Sure it's cheaper to be on a group plan. That's why my kids are on mine. They're also still in college and not working at the moment. When they graduate and get their "real" jobs, they get their own plan. Same with everything except medical insurance, and then that will be looked at until their 26 to determine who has the best plan for them.
That's how life works when you're an adult. You get to pick up your own bills. Suck it up.
I received the same "this is not a stipend" e-mail from someone in Southbend when only attaching the first page of the cell bill. My reimbursement has been consistently $125 with no push back. I spoke to the lead partner in my office and sent all 12 pages of the bill when resubmitting and received the full reimbursement. Knowing most partner's attitude toward this, I don't think the push back was coming from the partners, but instead a certain expense reviewer in SB on a crusade.
Most firms don't even reimburse for seniors and below. Quit complaining.
I got push back this month too. Usually I just get the $50 back no problem. This month I got some response saying that I'm only eligible for $44 of it and there is no stipend amount when it says $50 for us...
Yeah it's annoying af
Yep I only submit the first page but yes we do 🤦♂️
I did that recently and they made me send like 5 pages...
