Bassinet recommendations for newborn for something I can keep in the room with us? I’m just so overwhelmed by the amount of options

Unless you get a snoo, bassinet choice doesn’t really matter. As long as the baby sleeps on a flat hard surface, they won’t notice the difference. They literally could be sleeping in a box on the floor.

Our story: We got the halo for number one, which is very pretty, but I found flimsy feeling for the cost. Plus it’s literally only good for like 3 months- once baby started rolling, I moved him into a pack and play in our room because the halo felt too flimsy for him and I wasn’t prepared to move him into his room yet.

Number 2 literally just slept in a pack and play in our room from day 1. Unless you plan to get the snoo, this is the option I would recommend- it’s not the prettiest option, but it’s actually the easiest and def the cheapest. Also will last the longest.

Now pregnant with number 3 and am going to rent the snoo this time :-). I’ve heard too many great things about it and am too sleep deprived as is to not fork over the $100 a month

I used the uppqbaby bassinet and bought a stand from amazon. I try to get out and walk and if the baby is asleep I can just plop the bassinet on the stroller without waking him up

A Snoo! Rent or buy secondhand like we did.

There’s phenomenal resale value for Snoos so best approach is to buy during 40% off sale and then sell once you’re done for $6-700. Way cheaper than renting if you can deal with the capex.

I used this one. No frills but worked great!

Hi,
I graduated last year and was working with my university until last month. I extended my STEM OPT with my university before July 5th (first year OPT expiry). I got a new opportunity right after submitting my application & I notified my change in employer (submitted updated I-20 & I-983).
Last Friday, I got another opportunity that is way better than the current one and I don't want to miss. My STEM OPT application is still under review. Would it be okay if I change my employer again. Thanks!

Hello,
I graduated in June with a dual BSBA in healthcare management and human resources management/organizational management and two associates degrees in business and arts. I have twelve years of experience as a certified clinical medical assistant.

I'm having trouble finding my first job as a healthcare manager. After submitting many applications and receiving so many rejection emails, I've become frustrated. Any advice anyone can give is greatly appreciated.

My 13 MO is asthmatic and has been 18 pounds for the last 6 months. My pediatrician is concerned and suggests me to give him breast milk when he wakes up at night which is atleast 4 or 5 times. We couldn’t sleep train him due to his asthma attacks when he cries continuously and I am so done pumping and feeding through the night with a full time job. He eats way less during the day and compensates with breast milk at nights. I don’t know what I am looking for but any suggestions. I trust the ped.

Question for moms of babies who had helmets: eight month old has had a helmet for about 2.5 months. His head is clearly still flatter on one side but he’s improved to the point where if you considered it now, you wouldn’t bother with the helmet. He’s had basically no progress in the past four weeks and it’s annoying having the helmet as the weather is getting super hot. I’m sure the clinic won’t say he’s done until he’s literally perfect… should we just pull the plug?
