Why do companies hire and pay bigger on those new hires then do transition trainings instead of increasing the pay a bit of their experienced employees? This is just a thought that’s been circling on my mind since I started working in IT Software(8yrs). Btw, I’m now about to join my 5th company and main reason for leaving is low increase so I guess I benefited on the ‘higher pay’ part :) I am just curious of the reasons of the IT companies… Any thoughts?

When investing in stocks, how do you strategize where to put your money? For example, I like to put $2000 a month in the stock market. My problem is I buy 2 shares here, 3 shares there. And I’ve ended up owing a bit of everything. Ideally I want to build up to have 100 shares of a stock so I can start selling covered calls. But I feel like it’s going to take forever. Especially if I keep getting into new stocks.
