After a few long interview processes, I've learned that prior CPG experience is highly valued when entering any CPG industry (even in low- to mid-level roles). Can someone with experience recruiting in the space help explain the importance of the experience? Alternatively, would love to be able to "spin" my resume to help fill in the gaps that this lack of experience leaves.
Right now, I’m at 48-72 hours with some places that I’m expecting will reach out with offer letters. I’m used to getting the offer within 24 hours after the final interview. Has me curious: What’s the longest you’ve ever waited on an offer letter?
Anyone ever jump ship to another firm from Manager to Senior Manager? Would be curious how tough the process is and what they focus on during interview process.
How long would you wait before following up with a recruiter after a phone interview if you haven’t heard back? Everything in this process has gone so quickly until now and I don’t know whether I should reach out or not. I had a phone screen with the recruiter the day after she reached out to me and she set up my phone interview on the spot. The turnaround time has been less than 24 hours for everything but now it’s been radio silence and I’m starting to get anxious.
Any one leave for Wayfair? How’s the work life balance? Challenging projects? Tips for interviewing?

Is it common to have an interview with the corporate recruiter (industry) scheduled the day after the final round of interviews? This is new to me. I'm used to getting ghosted.
Any insight on interview questions / questions to ask for a boutique firm interview? It seems like a lot of the conversation is around culture since it is such a small organization as well as having that entrepreneurial mindset. Thanks!
EY partner worried about where I got my undergraduate degree. Basically overlooking my 10 year experience and achievements during interview. Good riddance
I’m an Analytics Consultant looking for industry roles as a data analyst/BI Developer. I’ve had a few recruiters and job postings ask directly for a dashboard sample. I obviously can’t give them anything I’ve worked on because of client’s proprietary data and NDAs. Has anyone run into this problem before? Did you end up making a dashboard with public data solely for industry interviews?
After 3 rounds of interviews (total 4 inc recruiter screen) over the past 5 odd weeks, just got told by a T2 consulting firm that they doesn’t sponsor H1B visas which is frustrating because they were aware of my visa situation right at the start. Sigh 😢. Understand it happens but frustrating nonetheless given the time and effort invested.
EY video interview kicked my ass
Can I disclose a public sector client if it's public knowledge to an interviewer? As in our contract was published and reported on, is it ok for me to say I work on it? Also the project is a covid project and pretty obvious to connect the dots if I describe my work. Been through 5 rounds with an investment bank without disclosing and have a final interview with an MD.
Typically how many working days after an interview does the HR gets back. Had about 4 interviews with Slalom. The last one was on Friday and all my interviews went well. Haven’t heard back yet. Wondering if I should reach out to the HR. I don’t wanna sound desperate…

*Advice* I recently accepted position at a 50K pay cut (covid). I shared my target salary /lateral move & at the negotiation point, they came up slightly by way of qtrly bonus structure but also outlined path for growth incl. expected salary increases at said points. Said it could be achieved in under a year. By day 4 of the new job they had accelerated to the final point in that plan without making good on title / salary. Spoke up immediately... “in discussion” 2 weeks in. Bait/switch WWUD??
