Top games of the last 5 years?
Thinking about tomorrow’s convocation! I hate convocations! I consider them a monumental waste of time. I don’t need a pep rally to start my year off right. I need time in my room to center myself and organize.
Anyone know what kroll is paying for an experienced analyst in fdd in la? About 2 years of exp. (1 audit, 1 faas). Asked for 90k and recruiter said it might not be possible
Does studying for top consulting firms’ case interviews help in any way for interviews with other firms (e.g., FAANG case interviews) ?
My friend gave interview on 22 nd September
In Cts and the hr told that she will get back for hr discussion and also dropped mail that you have been selected.
It's been a week the hr has not reverted back.
My friend dropped mails still they are asking to fill up some forms.
After how many days does hr discussion take place?
Anyone who has been able to find a solution for procrastination that actually worked? I’ve read a lot of self-help books (watched YouTube productivity videos) but the biggest barrier is I procrastinate the implementation of the advice I’ve received.
Has anyone joined FIS recently?
Is the onboarding virtual or do we need to report to the location?

In light of all discussions on FB, it seems to me that individuals at our firm have been removed out of EY beyond PIP related issues.
To help the community brace itself, please provide facts on your Utilization, level, leads, YoE at EY, and network.
My experience seems that the ones let go, had weak network.
Is 5 YOE considered entry level or associate? When I apply to associate level jobs I get nothing but rejections. And all the entry level jobs call for new grads or people with under 3 YOE.
I’m so confused. How do recruiters look at someone with 5 YOE? What level is that considered?
HR: Everyone should submit time daily
My Team: Wait 2 weeks then guess-timate that thang
Feeling a bit gutted. I'm a few months into consulting. In previous workplaces I had a lot of responsibilities and was considered one of the more senior staff members- I'm only learning now that throughout my career I've been underpaid- so now within consulting- I'm atleast 2 levels lower than I should be. I've communicated my feelings to my managers but would really appreciate some guidance. I worry that it will take 3-5 years to get the pay I deserve at the level I know I can perform.
Honestly how things are going right now with no solid treatment in line, even if you had COVID and recovered it doesn’t feel safer.
Are there any interesting careers/projects to pursue within IT Audit that have some transferable skills for later on in your career?
When you've completed something, turned it in, addressed comments, and turned it in again.. and you think you're officially done.. you're not.
My friend joined Wipro in mid of October 2022 and he got a better opportunity in a product based company. Now he wants to come out of the organisation. What is the probation period in Wipro for experienced employees? And in Wipro's offer letter we couldn't find terms related to Probation.
Are the roles at firms like Interbrand and Lippincot analogous to Big 4? I.e. is a director at KPMG or Senior Manager at EY a director/SM at Interbrand? Looking to apply and would appreciate insight.

Canadian MBBers! I have an MBA dilemma.
Ibwill be staying in Canada and hope to work at M or B (ideally BCG but have solid references there and at M). I am looking at a Queens accelerated MBA, which is my ideal program. Other programs I'm considering: 1yr USC Marshal MBA (~T15), IE Business School Online MBA (Spain) (T10 worldwide apparently?? [QS Rankings]). I am Located in Calgary.
I got an offer and want to accept but have an interview coming up with Mckinsey. Would it be a bad look if I tell the recruiter that I can’t interview? I want to leave this door open so I can reapply in the future. FYI I am not at all prepared for this interview😭

Out of curiosity, is consulting, esp MBB consulting not as coveted as they were several years ago? I keep seeing advanced technical (data science) skills required for many industry positions, even if the role is strategic. The traditional strategy/biz ops roles seem to become more and more selective, are typical exit paths from mbb consulting becoming more of a “red sea” situation?
