Anyone who has been able to find a solution for procrastination that actually worked? I’ve read a lot of self-help books (watched YouTube productivity videos) but the biggest barrier is I procrastinate the implementation of the advice I’ve received.

My experience seems that the ones let go, had weak network.

Is 5 YOE considered entry level or associate? When I apply to associate level jobs I get nothing but rejections. And all the entry level jobs call for new grads or people with under 3 YOE.

I’m so confused. How do recruiters look at someone with 5 YOE? What level is that considered?

Feeling a bit gutted. I'm a few months into consulting. In previous workplaces I had a lot of responsibilities and was considered one of the more senior staff members- I'm only learning now that throughout my career I've been underpaid- so now within consulting- I'm atleast 2 levels lower than I should be. I've communicated my feelings to my managers but would really appreciate some guidance. I worry that it will take 3-5 years to get the pay I deserve at the level I know I can perform.

Honestly how things are going right now with no solid treatment in line, even if you had COVID and recovered it doesn’t feel safer.

Canadian MBBers! I have an MBA dilemma.
Ibwill be staying in Canada and hope to work at M or B (ideally BCG but have solid references there and at M). I am looking at a Queens accelerated MBA, which is my ideal program. Q: Is it worthwhile looking into higher ranked programs outside of Canada given that this is my ideal program? Other programs I'm considering: 1yr USC Marshal MBA (~T15), IE Business School Online MBA (Spain) (T10 worldwide apparently?? [QS Rankings]). I am Located in Calgary.

How long after starting does McKinsey staff you on your first study?

I got an offer and want to accept but have an interview coming up with Mckinsey. Would it be a bad look if I tell the recruiter that I can’t interview? I want to leave this door open so I can reapply in the future. FYI I am not at all prepared for this interview😭

I keep seeing advanced technical (data science) skills required for many industry positions, even if the role is strategic.
