I would say McKinsey digital since we’re generally larger, with more connections globally. Our global staffing model also makes it much easier to get on to interesting projects as compared to some of our regional peers. For those saying that our competitors are far ahead of us - I’m not certain that being ahead in revenue/volume (where they are waaaay ahead due to size) is the same as being ahead in terms of interesting, high quality, unique use-cases or bleeding edge tech. Op - the overall question comes down to what you actually consider cool. SAP digital transformations? Not my jam. Using Python to build use-case specific NLP tool to optimize a high-value portion of a clients supply chain management process? That’s my jam.
Yep I can confirm what @McK3 says is fairly true and it also applies to us as well. Truth is that access to C-suite opens up a lot of interesting opportunities, but that doesn’t mean that end-to-end we do more superior, cutting-edge or impactful digital work. What a lot of Management consultants (who have never worked in tech outside of MBB) fail to realize is their ideas and approaches aren't novel or cutting-edge. More often it's very likely some big tech consulting firm like Accenture or Deloitte has already made that pitch, developed that idea, proposed that project. They just didn't have the executive sponsorship to do it and we do.
Neither. They are pretty behind DD and ACN when it comes to actual tech work

Implementation is cash cow. D and ACN have been milking it hard. Doubt MBB is in this market if not then most likely far behind D and ACN.
it is!!! i have honestly heard of multiple occasions when strategists suggest and then when the client wants to move forward they have NO idea how to proceed
If you aren’t doing them at Deloitte Digital I doubt the grass is greener elsewhere. Deloitte has a solid practice.
