What would you do in this situation?
We live in a small but growing town near Charlotte. The city’s housing market is booming and so is ours. There is LOT of new construction in our area and my house is 15yrs old but has lots of upgrades. My house has also appreciated well and my youngest is a rising junior so we were planning to downsize in 2-3 yrs when he goes to college so what I am trying to decide is whether to sell now to lock in the profit or wait for 2-3 yrs - continued in comments below

Working on an e-commerce partnership agreement, company refusing to mutually indemnify. They’re arguing the sentence stating parties are liable for statutory violations is enough; however, they include a longer indemnification for themselves but nothing for us.

What is a good workaround here to get us fully indemnified?

Not a lawyer specific question, but since many of us have crazy student loan debt thought I’d ask here. Why on earth isn’t there a conversation around the predatory interest rates on student loans? I feel like it would be so easy for the federal government to slash those rates, then people would actually pay back their loans, and it would be so much better for so many. We are instead having exclusively conversations about loan forgiveness but why no love for reduction in interest?

Just did the mck problem solving test and there was an error on one of the maps - it said a resource would be available at a certain location but it wasn’t! Completed the feedback survey - anything else I should do/tell?

Idk how, but I got the offer. Still wondering if it’s real (it’s been 30mins since the phone call) because I thought I performed so poorly. I wouldn’t have passed myself. I hope the interviewers didn’t make a mistake (accidentally mixed up evals for another candidate, or the call was meant for another candidate w/ the same name). If i applied to BCG China 1 year ago & got rejected, can i reapply now with a consultant's referral to the US (no resume improvements, just referral + applying to new geography)? Does BCG track applications globally & do they strictly require 2 years new experience for reapplicants? Would the consultant's referral make a difference in getting an interview 1 year post-rejection?
