Goes for most white collar professions
Average build professionals, male and female in my experience are more successful. I’ve seen overweight advisors struggle and fail, I’ve seen fitness gurus struggle too ( gym time interferes ). Well kept advisors who look put together play the part well. If you leave the house looking like a bag of smashed ass, then stay home.... brush your hair and teeth, iron your clothes and polish your shoes.
Dress the part , be the part , act the part. Iron your shirt ,get a nice suit , where nice shoes. You don’t have to spend 1000 bucks on your outfit but look professional.

Unfortunately yes. A nice suit or nice dress doesn’t mean you know your shit. A bit shallow if you ask me

Yes and no.
I know a couple of unattractive or (worse in my opinion due to much of our initial contacts occur over the phone) a speech impediment or just rough sound.
But it is much harder for them. Attractive people with an ability to communicate have an advantage.
