Wonderful site but I just have to re-state for reader perspective that the underlying data is so dirty/insufficient. E.g. Missouri does not have 50 cases... we probably are in the four digits. There’s been nearly zero testing done here unless you’re in the ER. You can pretty up and re-present bad data all you want but models/analysis are only as good as what you feed them...

I’m suggesting that the reported data is woefully inaccurate. And it is.

Really low (day 1 of my periods) andI’ve been stressing today on things that are outside my control. Have my birthday coming up, and i’ll be 35 soon. No bf, no man, no marriage in sight. The clock is ticking, more so as i have large uterine fibroids, so not just my parents, even my gynec wants me to hurry up. Have been alone cooped up at home for more than a year now with no end in sight thanks to COVID. Dating is bust too. So all in all really lonely. Any words of encouragement?

Have any of you taken FMLA leave due to a positive COVID case for a member of your household? My husband just tested positive for COVID and I am not sure yet if my 2 toddlers have it. In any event, even if they are healthy, they can’t go back to daycare for awhile so childcare is all on me. I’m wondering if I should apply for FMLA leave so I don’t completely crash my hours, but I am also not sure whether this situation qualifies for FMLA.

How long would you say a new job takes before you’re fully competent?
