I agree with AS1. I didn’t bother practicing the writing but I read several examples to get an idea of how to structure my writing and how to address the topic. From what I remember, it’s less about being accurate on the topic and more about addressing it properly. I absolutely hate writing so I thought it might be a weak point for me on the exam but I passed with a 93 so it wasn’t bad at all.
I also highly recommend doing all the practice exams you can. I ended up with quite a few similar questions on the exam and one simulation that was very close to a practice one I had done.
BEC writing section: Don’t worry at all about being accurate. Focus on making 0 grammar/spelling mistakes. Repeat the key phrases/words from the prompt. And if you know any relevant key words from the topic in general, use them. You can absolutely do well if you know nothing about the topic.
I read all of the Becker examples and felt that helped.
IT for sure!!
I’m not good at writing, but in BEC, writing is just drafting memos. IMO, it was pretty easy. Focus on learning all the calculations. If you get that down, BEC will be the easiest section you take. Good luck.
