Been 8 days since on-site and no word the feedback should have been from just two folks...good or bad sign!?

The process is not fast. We optimize for avoiding false positives. I started my process in July and finally got my offer in December (2019)

Doesn’t necessarily mean anything. It could be they are waiting fir interviewers to submit their feedback and recommendation. If you have not heard “no” then ur still being considered abs things are just slow. You should feel comfortable reaching out to recruiter for update.

Heard back that I didn’t get it 12 days after on-site

It’s a normal sign

Same here! It’s been officially 10 business days for me since my final 😔 starting to lose hope even though I felt that it went really well.

Agreed! Feel free to DM me if you’d like, so hard to go through this when you have no idea what’s happening and feeling super impatient

I had back positive from a phone screen, 4 weeks after. If you haven't received a reject, I think it's best to stay neutral. They don't ghost, so you'll certainly receive an answer.

It’s been two weeks for me

Email your recruiter! They’re likely just waiting for all of the feedback to come in before giving you an update, but we certainly don’t mind a quick ping.

Oh no, that’s frustrating! Did you work with anyone else prior to this recruiter (Sourcer or coordinator) ?

From my interview experience and conducting interviews I would say 2-3 weeks is pretty normal. Not ideal but that’s what tends to happen. The more senior the role the longer it could take though (I.e. manager vs IC)

Any firms that use CCH make sure your invoices are being checked carefully. We just reviewed ours and were over-billed the last 2 years. The worst part is our rep then gave a bullshit story of how the list price was incorrect on the invoice but the amount billed was correct.

Hi! I have a quick question and could use some advice:

I have 1 job offer that is an hour away and pays 45k, after negotiations (Research Associate Position at a University) .

I have just interviewed for a position closer to home and a base salary of 65k, but haven’t heard back from them in about 2 days (He said he would make a decision by yesterday and I’ve reached out).
I have to decide on the first offer by Thursday but I haven’t heard back from the second yet. Thoughts on next move?

I've been working remotely for the past two years, and it's been great. I love working from home and being able to watch my kids grow up through their eyes as they play around me. But sometimes, when you're in this kind of situation, it's hard to know what to talk about with your coworkers.

I'm interested in an open role at Google; the description mentions several in-office locations, one of which is in the city I live in. It also notes only one remote location- LA, California.

Does this mean working fully remote or even hybrid is not an option if not located in Cali? I know work preference can be discussed during the interview stage (if one gets to that point) but looking for insight on this.

Thank you!

Any advice on how to approach your Google manager about turning your role into 60% part-time (3 days/week)? I know there is business need for role, so would be hit to the team, but I’m feeling burn out hard and don’t see how I can last much longer. Figure it would be better to go part time than leave altogether, but can’t really say that to my manager. Any way to explore this without blowing everything up?
