How much is too much for rent percentage wise? I’m currently paying 30% of my take home pay for rent+bills in a 3-bed house share but thinking of getting a 1-bed. The ones I’ve found are 45-50% (incl bills) of net pay, is that excessive? I have been interviewing with OW for about 5 months. Started interviews in late December, finished in March and now waiting on an offer. They said they were going to extend but it’s been weeks where they are “finishing up there offer”. Any insights into what’s going on? I’ve let them know I have a competing offer and they all but ghosted me.
